Introduction TO Multisensory instruction/Savannah Dyslexia
Savannah Dyslexia Fully Immersive Educator Course
Applications Used:
iMovie, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Garage Band, and H5P. Project Description: This 25-hour course is a fully immersive experience for learners. What began as Powerpoint presentations were dynamically recreated in Canva. These were then turned into interactive video lectures that needed full editing. Additional instructional demo footage was captured with two cameras and intercut and audio engineered. All content was then built into the Tovuti LMS, with highly visual elements. All Knowledge checks are interactive with text-based drag and drops, visual drag and drops, visual ordering, and branching scenarios. For proprietary reasons beyond my control, the course is private, however a promotional video I also produced is available. |

The Cheftectives Digital Escape room/Escoffier Culinary Institute

The Cheftectives Episode Two
Initial gap analysis identified sanitation and fire safety issues among students. While partially covered, culinary students needed a more engaging real-world experience. The company aimed to enter the digital escape room market for learning. I conceptualized and developed the product, delivering it in three episodes. Each episode includes knowledge checks, puzzles, and character interactions within a storyline. The experience utilizes advanced video editing, layers, triggers, and JavaScript programming for consistent audio. Episode two is embedded on the left.

Articulate Rise 360, Canva, H5P Project Description: This course delves into Bean to Bar chocolate production. This section focuses solely on manufacturing. It features high end graphics, moving gif's, custom designed flip cards, and a multitude of infographics. |
Research Culinary Association - Sauces
Applications Used:
Articulate Rise 360, Adobe XD, H5P Project Description: This course walks a learner through a brief history of sauces, the process of sauce terminology and hierarchy, and the science of sauce thickening. It features an embedded Adobe XD interactive that allows users to grasp how compound sauces are built, and the hierarchy behind the process. |
The Bloody Mary Master Class
Applications Used:
Articulate Rise 360 Project Description: This course was designed for the General Manager of Sorry Charlie's a large scale restaurant in Savannah, GA. The goal was to bring all servers up to speed on the history and variability of the Bloody Mary Cocktail. They were going to launch a Bloody Mary Brunch as tourist season began and wanted staff to be extremely knowledgeable in order to move large amounts of product. |

Farm to Table City Marketing Series: Denver
Programs Used:
Canva, iMovie, Adobe Photoshop Project Description: This series of marketing videos was created for the Auguste Escoffier Culinary Institute. The four videos were designed to sell weekend experiences for culinary students, each in a different city. The stock footage was matched to the actual destination cities as well as the style of location featured in each excursion. As it was included in social media campaigns, there were also instagram friendly (1080x1080) an tik-tok friendly (1280x1920) versions that had to be recut in order to fit within the client requested aspect ratios. |

All of the footage for the project was curated from Canva. This video is produced in the instagram aspect ratio of 1080 x 1080. |

Programs Used:
Canva, Adobe Premiere Project Description: The third film in the series, focuses on Charleston. It is produced in a laid back feel with a more relaxed soundtrack, featuring various speed shots and more aerial footage of local landmarks. The marketing team requested a very brief cut around thirty five seconds. All footage was curated from Canva and exists in the Tik-Tok aspect ratio of 1080 x 1920. |

Savannah Arts Academy Recruiting Film
Programs Used:
Final Cut X, Adobe After Effects, Camtasia Project Description: This film was created to help recruit local talent and beyond to increase student potential for a performing arts high school in Savannah, GA. The Principal of the school wanted something quick paced and action filled to help communicate the school's progressive style. The film covers each arts area. I shot the footage with various cameras, and mixed with performance archives for a blockbuster that increased arts enrollment by 25% over a five year period. |

Adobe Premiere, Garage Band, Audacity Project Description: This humorous training video was created to help teachers learn to set up a public address system that was used on site. The instructional segment is the centerpiece of the film, while it is bookended with a comedic intro and outro, addressing classroom management. I wrote, directed, and produced this video. |

Wellness Wheel Interactive Survey
Programs Used:
Adobe Stock, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, iMovie, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise Project Description: This wellness survey made use of a lot of different applications to provide the most animation, and entertainment value to students. The stock image sourced from adobe Stock was recolored and layered using Illustrator and Photoshop. The animation was designed in XD, captured and edited using iMovie, placed into Storyline, and designed to tally student responses. The full survey has seven rounds, and features unique graphics and animation in each round. This interactive can be viewed in a separate window by clicking the button below. Once opened, press the red circle/icon to begin round one. Close the window when you are ready to move on. |
Meditation Storyline Interactive

Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise Project Description: This simple interaction was developed for a health and wellness course, and incorporates full video on a loop with animated slides that are triggered by pressing on the various moon icons on the left side of the graphic. This interactive may be viewed in a separate window by clicking the button below. Once open activate by pressing the play icon in the center, then tap the various moons to see all of the benefits. Close the window when you are ready to move on. |
Buyer Persona Interactive

Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise Project Description: This interactive was developed in order to visually communicate the aspects of a Buyer Persona to Food Entrepreneurship students. This tool will provide the groundwork for an assignment in which a buyer persona will have to be developed based on an imaginary product. |

Mother Sauce Interactive
Programs Used:
Adobe Stock, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Articulate Rise Project Description: Test data showed students had difficulty with compound/derivative sauces. This interactive was developed to demonstrate the "family" tree of sauces. The black and white image was sourced from adobe stock, edited and colored with Illustrator and photoshop, and then fleshed out and animated in Adobe XD. to operate the interactive click on one of the underlined mother sauces at the bottom. That will take you through four derivative sauces per color scheme. Use the navigation arrows at the bottom to progress or return. Instructions: To operate this interactive, click on one of the underlined terms at the base, and then use the arrows to complete each section. |

Effects of Stress on the Body Interactive
Programs Used:
Canva, iMovie, Adobe XD, Articulate Rise Project Description: This high resolution graphic was designed as a small feature in a health and wellness course. The idea was to maintain simple navigation with very high end graphics that move. The Canva sourced graphics were used as a background that really pops visually. Purposeful layering within Adobe XD assisted in the title animations. The learner may navigate freely as needed, and once embedded in Articulate Rise, they could begin and end at their leisure. To operate the Interactive click on the screen and let the intro video play, then follow the onscreen instructions to continue. Once you arrive at the list of systems, you may click on any system, however, clicking on the respiratory system will complete the experience. Instructions: To initiate the interactive, click on the center of the block. Once the animation completes, press begin and then continue. Once on the body system landing page select a body system to learn more. |
LMS/course layout
OG Academy Interactive Subscriber Course
This PDF-based Moodle Course was adapted with the desire to increased interactivity and learner engagement utilizing, drag and drop functions, interactive media forms, moving gif elements, custom banners, and custom infographics.
Knowledge checks were built using Articulate Storyline. The Kajabi LMS was populated with HTML coding and links to Articulate Rise content delivery. The course was launched in March of 2023 to rave l;earner reviews. Enrollment for thge course has increased by 35% when compared to learner enrollment of its predecessor. |

Escoffier Culinary Institute
With an existing template in place, Programs, tracks, and courses are built and populated from master shells with in the Moodle LMS. Content, discussions, quizzes, and assignments are translated from a text-based planning document. Images and visual elements are created/selected by the Instructional Designer. Quizzes, discussions and assignments are also translated from the SME-created palnning documnet. For proprietary reasons only screenshots can be included.

Savannah Dyslexia LMS Migration
This project was a pilot build for an eight unit 25 hour course. The possible LMS migration included rebuilds of almost all interactive assets and a test run of Unit 1 in the Canvas LMS.
Information was culled from the current LMS starting with images and text. The course interactives were rebuilt using Articulate Storyline instead of their native H5P. For proprietary reasons only screenshots can be included. |
